Idea Village Press Conference Will Unveil Expanded NOEW Lineup

idea villageThe Idea Village announced they are holding a press conference today, January 22nd, 2013 at 3pm CST to unveil the expanded New Orleans Entrepreneur Week lineup. NOEW will take place March 16-22, 2013. Below is some additional information provided this afternoon:

WHAT:                 

NOEW, the culmination of The Idea Village’s annual Entrepreneur Season, has become the premier showcase event for the New Orleans startup community. This year is expected to be ten times the size of the inaugural year with 3,000 of the nation’s most innovative business leaders, financiers, entrepreneurs, and students anticipated to be engaged to support over 600 entrepreneurs though over 55 events. NOEW 2013 will also host an Entrepreneurial Ecosystem Summit to discuss best practices and the future of entrepreneurship.

Participating 2013 partners include Google, Harrah’s, IBERIABANK, Jones Walker, Chase, Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses, J.P. Morgan, and Salesforce. NOEW 2013 has also attracted nationally-renowned venture capitalists Jim Coulter (TPG Capital)Robbert Vorhoff (General Atlantic), and David Hall (Revolution Ventures), regional investors, corporate volunteers, and MBA students from eight of the nation’s leading business schools.

Last year, NOEW 2012 connected more than $1 million in capital, strategic consulting, and resources to 475 New Orleans entrepreneurs across 48 different events.
