Wireless communication company, Bascom Hunter, joined the Louisiana Technology Park earlier this week. The announcement came during a meeting the Park’s Admissions Committee held yesterday afternoon.
Bascom Hunter specializes in advanced defense and industrial applications, and serves multiple markets including marine and offshore vessels, industrial and commercial facilities, and government and public safety.
According to Jesse Hoggard, Director of Communications for the Park, Bascom Hunter expects to complete development of one of its products a Radio Frequency (RF) interference cancelation system (ICS) while in the incubator. The product was first conceptualized in 2010. As of now, the product is being built for military use, but has the capability to be expanded into other markets in the future.
Bascom Hunter’s mission is to enable customers to get the most out of the wireless revolution. The company provides consulting services including customer relationship management (CRM), sales and marketing, government relations, and technology development.
