Launch Media, an ever-expanding video production company, is once again finding a new home. Originally based out of the Celtic Media Centre, additionally with a New Orleans office which opened in June, the company will soon be anchoring a workspace in the Creative Bloc building in downtown Baton Rouge.
The 11,500 square foot building in which the workspace will open this summer was purchased in late December by John Jackson. Jackson decided to name the building the Creative Bloc because of the visual media professionals who will work out of the space. Launch Media is planning to operate out of 4,000 square feet of the space.
Launch Media has a range of capabilities for its fairly small team, including digital video and media, strategic content and messaging development, experiential event design, and visual communication platform (VCP). The company is no stranger to big name clients. The team has worked with others including Lamar Advertising, NewOrleans.com, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baton Rouge Area Chamber (BRAC), and Hilton.
The company’s space and many of its resources will be shared with smaller companies and entrepreneurs in the building.
