All-in-one email archiving solution company ArcMail has launched its newest product, ArcMail Social, to address the information governance requirements for social data. The innovative technology organizes and retrieves data across social media outlets and makes everything exportable.
“With the emergence of Facebook, Twitter and other social platforms as powerful collaboration and customer engagement tools, new enterprise archiving rules are starting to take shape,” said Rory Welch, ArcMail CEO. “Now, more than ever, businesses are being held accountable for what appears in their social streams. It’s become clear that they must take steps to ensure that all essential data – even unstructured data – is properly archived, managed and maintained.”
IT professional Doug Arnold is already please with ArcMail Social’s all-in-one archiving approach. “ArcMail solved our requirements to archive social media posts within the same system we use to archive email. This provided an all-in-one solution, rather than a separate appliance or service, reducing costs and saving labor time as well,” said Arnold. “I find the search capabilities of the device to be exceptional. The logging of our social media content is seamless and provides necessary compliance. In addition, installation was simple and support is phenomenal.”
ArcMail Social, like all other ArcMail products, was built from the ground up. It is available as an add-on module for any ArcMail Defender archiving solution. The company launched the information archiving solution Defender VM back in March. It was developed to organize a business’ most valuable data, including information in the network, hardware, and software.
