Launch Pad and Idea Village to Host Google I/O Extended Event on 5/16

Google I/O Extended

I/O is Google’s annual developer-focused conference in San Francisco, CA that features highly technical sessions about building web, mobile and other applications with Google in addition to the latest breakthroughs in the tech world. The will be live streamed all day tomorrow, Thursday May 16th, from the IP rotunda at Launch Pad.

Launch Pad and Idea Village have teamed up for the I/O Extended event (4:30 to 6:30 pm) featuring Tara Canobbio of Google and a chance to score cool Google swag while connecting to local developers and entrepreneurs. Extended events give those a chance that did not purchase a ticket to experience the conference remotely.

The Extended event is timed to coincide with the Tech Talk “How to Go from Weekend Hack to Funded Startup” featuring Heidi Roizen, Naval Ravikant, and Jessica Livingston. Roizen is now a VC with DFJ, Ravikant is CEO and co-founder of AngelList, and Livingston is a founding partner at Y Combinator. The Tech Talk will share how to attract investors from entrepreneurs who have raised money and VCs who have funded them.
