Local IT security group NolaSec (Nola Security) is hosting its June meeting in the “fire talk” format on Thursday, June 27th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at The Bridge Lounge. The group has nailed down three speakers who will present a wide range of technical talks. It will be an informal event where attendees and speakers can network while enjoying food and drinks.
The group brings everyone together for a monthly meeting where attendees can learn about new research and IT security in a quick presentation, “fire talk” format. Typically, three to six speakers present at each meeting for five to six minutes each. Next week’s speakers are some of the area’s top information security experts and will be discussing a wide range of technical talks throughout the evening.
NolaSec is composed of researchers, professionals, students, and hobbyists in the computer security and digital forensics space. The group accepts new speakers each month in the IT security field, so have your ideas ready!
