Former LSU All-American and current safety for the Indianapolis Colts, LaRon Landry, is in town for his first annual Leadership for Life “Evening of Bliss” fundraising gala. The event will take place tonight at Generations Hall from 9:00 PM to 12:00 AM.
Leadership for Life develops and funds programs that encourage youth to set high standards for themselves. The Foundation provides the opportunity to succeed both academically and through extracurricular activities, encouraging future leaders in the community.
The gala will attract celebrities, philanthropists and other movers and shakers in New Orleans. Other special guests include Corey Webster of the New York Giants, Dawan Landry of the New York Jets, and Darius Reynaud of the Tennessee Titans.
Registration is open until 8:00 PM tonight. There is a suggested donation of $40. Proceeds from the fundraiser will go to Landry’s Foundation.
