Local IT security group NolaSec (Nola Security) is hosting its monthly meeting tomorrow, Thursday, July 18th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at The Bridge Lounge. The group has nailed down two speakers who will present a their technical talks for 30 minutes each.
The group brings everyone together for a monthly meeting where attendees can learn about new research and IT security in an informal, fun networking and presentation environment.
NolaSec is composed of researchers, professionals, students, and hobbyists in the computer security and digital forensics space. The group accepts new speakers each month in the IT security field, so have your ideas ready.
Tomorrow presentations include:
- Jeffrey J Guy, Director of Everything Else at Carbon Black – Data exfiltration detection from RFC-compliant HTTP, HTTPS and DNS connections
- Golden G. Richard III, University Research Professor at University of New Orleans – Mac Maverick’s Compressed RAM & Memory Forensics
