LLU LogoThe LSU Flores MBA Alumni Association, in partnership with the LSU E. J. Ourso College of Business, is hosting its 10th Louisiana Looking Up event on Thursday, September 12th, 2013. The business-networking event will feature prominent business speakers from around the country.

Scheduled panelists for Louisiana Looking Up are: Charles Caldwell III and William McGehee,  co-founders, Tin Roof; Renae Conley, executive vice president, Entergy; Jay Jackson, chief executive officer, Stuller; and Shawn Usher, chief executive officer, Sparkhound. The emcee for the event will be Gordy Rush, VP and Marketing Manager for Guaranty Broadcasting.

LSU MBAAA President Craig Juengling believes Louisiana Looking Up is a great networking opportunity for all involved. The event also serves as a way for the association support to LSU Flores MBA Program by helping to provide jobs and internships for students, financial support and student engagement through mentoring and other means of connecting with alumni.

“We are pleased to once again cohost a preeminent business event in the capital region,” Juengling said. “For this year’s event, we are proud to welcome Halimah DeLaine Prado, Director of Legal at Google, as our keynote speaker.”

“Halimah’s presence at this year’s event elevates Louisiana Looking Up to an even more significant level,” Juengling said. “She brings a knowledge base and set of experiences the rapidly evolving regional information technology community can benefit from, and we are excited to have her as our keynote speaker.”
