Local Marketing Agency Celebrates First Year in Business

Rapjab

RapJab, a New Orleans-based marketing agency, is celebrating its first year in operation. Tonight (September 4), founders James Braendel and Richard Pomes will host a launch event at Propeller to commemorate their successful first year.

“Bootstrapping a startup isn’t easy, but it’s a lot of fun when it works,” said Braendel, who is excited to celebrate Rap Jab and introduce the brand to the community.

The launch party will feature live music by James Martin, a presentation by Sunken City, cocktails by Drink & Learn and eats by local restaurants.

With a mission to provide high quality marketing services to organizations of all sizes, RapJab has averaged 26% growth per month — 1500% annually — since inception. Over the last year, they have worked with 25 clients over roughly 75 projects.

“We believe that people connect to people, not companies; that analytics and technology are nothing without heart and humor; and consumers should be engaged, not bought.”

“We couldn’t be more proud of the way things are going. I’m extremely excited to see what the future brings and hope that New Orleans is ready for us,” says Pomes.
