On October 1st, Silicon Bayou News and Tech Cocktail are bringing the first ever Tech Cocktail Social to New Orleans.We’ll mix and mingle with the hottest local startups at Ohm Lounge (next to Barcadia) from 6:30 to 9:00 PM.

This event will connect members of the tech and startup scene. Whether you’re seeking a new job, looking to build a new connection to take your business to the next level, or simply looking for an exciting environment to break up the week.
Additionally, one BIG announcement will be made. Two startups will be chosen by Tech Cocktail to represent New Orleans at Tech Cocktail Celebrate in Las Vegas, a national startup competition and conference that expects over 500 attendees including founders, entrepreneurs, tech enthusiasts, investors, media, and local community leaders from across the country. The winners will be announced at the Social.
Celebrate also boasts a big stage contest with a big check, great content from speakers and a chance to spend two days in downtown Vegas, which is a city as a startup.
Greater New Orleans area companies can apply here and, if selected, will win free tickets to Celebrate, October 23rd through 25th in Las Vegas. The startups will also receive a mention on the Tech Cocktail website during the event wrap-up article.
Companies less than three years old that have raised less than $1M are good candidates for Celebrate, according to Tech Cocktail. If Tech Cocktail finds your company or product to fit the bill, they will reach out directly.
