The 2nd annual Louisiana IT Symposium, held on December 4th at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel in New Orleans, will gather the region’s IT leaders to explore news ways to collaborate and maintain competitive advantages. The event is designed for Chief Information Officers and their direct reports and other specific IT personnel and is closed to the public.
Attendees will hear from opening keynote Tim Babco, CIO of Pool Corporation, as well as lunch keynote Chris Filandro, Vice President and CIO Meritage Homes. Engaging panels, breakout sessions and networking opportunities are also on the agenda for the daylong conference.
“The ability to share ideas and collaborate on common IT issues with local and regional peers makes this event both rewarding and productive,” EFM Events, the IT Symposium organizer, said in a statement.
The inaugural IT Symposium strategically partnered with the Louisiana Technology Council. This year, organizers have partnered with Simmons & White, a company that provides business consulting for growth and profitability.
There is also a 15 person advisory committee comprised of CIOs from GE Capital, CenturyLink, National Finance Center and more. The full list is available here.
