The Idea Village is a hosting a showcase event featuring the 2014 IDEAxcelerator cohort tonight, December 10th, from 4pm – 6:30pm at the WWII Museum’s Stage Door Canteen.
Graduating entrepreneurs will be presenting on the progress they have made during the intensive, 11-week program as well as what’s in store and the entrepreneur season continues.
Each year, The Idea Village selects 15-20 high growth ventures for the program that is customized to each entrepreneur’s needs and includes setting operational goals, providing business strategy, marketing support, and financial guidance.
“All these folks have started a company, raised money, hired people,” said Tim Williamson, Co-founder and CEO at The Idea Village. “They’re in a position to mentor.” The goal is to help make the companies more investable.
“The Entrepreneur Season strategically and efficiently engages a global network to support high-growth New Orleans-based entrepreneurs, educate the larger entrepreneurial community, and promote New Orleans as an entrepreneurial hub,” said Williamson.
