AR|PR Announces New Startup Packages Aimed at Local Tech Companies

Atlanta-based public relations firm AR|PR, which works with technology leaders and innovative startups, has announced their brand new Startup Packages offering to give emerging brands a boost.

AR PRThe company expanded to New Orleans in 2013 hoping to capitalize on the fact that city has the 19th highest density of tech start ups in the country, and IT jobs are up 28% in the market.

“With offices in Atlanta Tech Village and Launch Pad, we not only serve startups, but are surrounded by them everyday. We quickly realized that emerging tech companies desperately need professional PR support, but through a non-traditional delivery method,” said company CEO Anna Ruth Williams.

Traditionally, startups have two options: try to manage social media and public relations on their own or pay an agency a retainer fee. AR|PR is providing tech startups with alternative, multi-level packages that shake up the model and make the process affordable.

“We’re excited to launch these products and services to support the continued growth of the startup community in both Atlanta and New Orleans as well as throughout the Southeast,” said Blair Broussard, VP of AR|PR. “We understand how nimble startup companies’ budgets, priorities and time have to be in order to succeed. Unlike traditional retainers and long-term contracts, these flat-rate, one-time packages give pre-revenue startups the tools and professional services they need to give their emerging brands a boost.”

Startups can choose from three options– Bootstrapper ($350), Starter Upper ($950) or Launch Rocket ($1850)– depending on which is right for their brand. The Starter Upper option includes a consultation, press releases, a media list, a social media strategy, wire distribution and more.

The first 100 companies to purchase a package will receive free Twitter handles for their target reporters.
