New Orleans Battle of the Brands Bracket Launches During March Madness

Metro NOLA SourceLink Metro New Orleans area companies are currently competing for Top Brand title in the first ever “Battle of the Brands,” launched just in time for the March Madness happenings.

Host Metro NOLA SourceLink created the competition “to help shine the spotlight on the legacy and future of entrepreneurship in the greater New Orleans region, the contest began earlier this month with a field of 64 companies representing some of the greater New Orleans region’s most iconic entrepreneurial brands.”

All companies were randomly paired again each other in a tournament style bracket much like the March Madness basketball bracket. For each round, voters are encouraged to visit the bracket page during specific time windows to vote for their favorite companies and move them into the next round. The field is down to the “Epic 8” round and from March 20, 2014 at 9:00am to March 21, 2014 at 4:00pm, voting will be open to see which companies will make it to the “Fightin’ 4” round, which will be open for voting on March 24, 2014 at 9:00am to March 25, 2014 at 4:00pm.

Voting for the Championship Round will begin on March 27, 2014 at 9:00am to March 28, 2014 at 4:00pm.

  • Round 5/Fightin’ 4: 3/24/14 @ 9:00am – 3/25/15 @ 4:00pm
  • Round 6/Toothsome Twosome: 3/27/14 @ 9:00am – 3/28/15 @ 4:00pm
  • Winner Announced: 3/29/14 @ 9:00am
