JEDCO, Booming, Hires Two New Economic Development Specialists

On May 29th, the Jefferson Parish Economic Development Commission (JEDCO) announced the hire of two new economic development specialists who will be working with local business throughout the parish to enhance the economic climate. Annalisa Kelly, previously with the State of Louisiana’s Office of Community Development, and Trevor Acy, previously with Waggoner Engineering, are now part of JEDCO.

Economic development specialist Trevor Acy has joined the JEDCO team.

“I’m very grateful to have the opportunity to join the impressive team at JEDCO,” Trevor says. “I will be fortunate to be part of the exciting business growth occurring in Jefferson Parish. As an Economic Development Specialist, I look forward to connecting our businesses with the resources that allow them to succeed.”

Economic development specialist Acy will be working on the implementation of JEDCO’s Business Retention & Expansion Program to businesses throughout Jefferson Parish.

Kelly will be working specifically with the City of Kenner through “a cooperative endeavor agreement intended to create and retain jobs in the city, as well as to attract private investment to the area,” which is the sixth year this partnership has occurred, explained JEDCO. Kelly will be providing her services relating to the city’s strategy Kenner 2030.

Annalisa Kelly has joined JEDCO, tasked to work directly with the City of Kenner.

“I am thrilled to join the JEDCO team and to work on the multitude of exciting projects in the City of Kenner and across Jefferson Parish as a whole,” says Annalisa. “I am very much looking forward to being a part of the economic development of Jefferson Parish, and to specifically work closely with businesses in Kenner to ensure their continued success.”
