myMix Nutrition is the first ever e-commerce platform that allows customers to fully customize ready-to-mix nutritional supplements. The New York City-based company has just relocated its headquarters to New Orleans, joining the New Orleans BioInnovation Center (NOBIC).
The myMix founders are excited to take advantage of local resources such as Louisiana tax credits, lower cost of doing business, and facilities at NOBIC as well as its funding sources like the New Orleans BioFund.
Launched just months ago in February, the dietary supplements company focuses on a transparent, clean and trustworthy buying platform. Customers know they will receive high-quality, safe supplements, which is why actor Hugh Jackman applies his customized mix to his daily dietary and fitness regimen as he gears up for his next project.
myMix customers can compose a mix by selecting from an array of proteins, singular amino acids, vitamins, minerals, probiotics and other nutraceuticals.
NOBIC explains, “the genesis of the idea came about following the collegiate and professional athletic careers of the company’s two co-founders, CEO Crutcher Reiss (a Tight End at the University of Virginia), and President Sarah Kirkwood Reiss (UVA & professional indoor volleyball player), and subsequently their experiences as investment banking professionals on Wall Street over the last four years.”
myMix officially moved into its new headquarters on June 6th. Find out more about myMix at mymixnutrition.com/.
