July Net2NO Recap: New Media Panel and Announcements

Net2noNet2NO, the fourth largest Net2Local meetup group in the world, has grown from 30 members to now over 1,100 people since 2008. The New Orleans meetup Net2NO has hosted events to connect local entrepreneurs, innovators and tech people.

  • Women in Technology (July 26, 10am-2pm) QA (Quality Assurance) Bootcamp presented by Rebecca Snook, Director of QA at TurboSquid http://www.neworleanswit.org/software-testing-workshop/ (Lunch will be provided)

  • Delgado community College is looking for business owners and hiring managers to discuss what technical skills they are looking for in new grads. Allyson Hoss attendance and hoping to chat with business owners & hiring managers She’s in the process of updating their legacy IT program from being focused on things like Visual Basic and C++ to more modern, relevant skills.
