4th Source, a Systems and Information Technology Company, Relocates Corporate Headquarters to Kenner

Back in April, a large North American technology company announced it was opening a corporate headquarters in Kenner, a project organized in part by the Jefferson Parish Economic Development Commission (JEDCO), in conjunction with the City of Kenner and the Jefferson Parish Government. 4th Source celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony on September 30th.

4th Source Ribbon Cutting4th Source provides nearshore technology and services across a number of industries. “4th Source Provides products and services that support critical information technology functions within companies,” explains CEO Michael Wedge. “We allow our customers to focus on their core business while we provide information technology support that is higher quality, lower risk, and lower cost.”

The new space, which also includes the company’s delivery services, is a 5,000-square-foot shared space that was created to enhance connectivity, creativity and collaboration. 15 employees currently work out of the new headquarters, and the company plans to employ 320 people in Kenner by 2018.

JEDCO coordinated the effort to bring 4th Source into the growing technology sector in the region. The organization arranged site selection efforts, supplied demographic, wage and local market data, and offered incentives guidance to 4th Source leaders. Louisiana Economic Development (LED), the state’s economic development agency, provided 4th Source with a competitive incentive package, including access to FastStart, a workforce training program, and use of Louisiana’s Digital Interactive Media and Software Development Incentive and the state’s Quality Jobs Program.

Michael Hecht, President and CEO of Greater New Orleans, Inc. said they are thrilled to welcome 4th Source to the area. “Greater New Orleans is the fastest growing technology market in the USA, with a strong foundation of local companies increasingly complimented by dynamic new firms, like 4th Source.  The result is a growing critical mass of outstanding companies and jobs for our community.”
