The Idea Village is hosting the second ever Shredder Night, an open mic night for the local entrepreneurial community, next Thursday, November 13th from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM at The Rusty Nail.
Everyone is invited to join either to pitch to the crowd or just as an attendee. Those interested in attending can RSVP here.
The organization describes the event as being for people who are either looking to secure capital, or just floating around a half-baked idea for a new venture. “Mastering the art of the pitch is critical,” the invitation continues. Participants will each have two minutes to pitch followed by a five minute question and answer session with the panel of “shredders” who will provide candid, real-time feedback for those who pitch.
