SoBou is Bringing Back “BarPreneurs” Lunch Hour for Entrepreneurs

SoBou, the French Quarter hot spot of the Commander’s Family of Restaurants, is bringing back the “BarPreneurs” lunch-hour that gives entrepreneurs a chance to pitch in front of seasoned judges, the BarPreneurs, this Friday, January 16.

SoBouThe idea is to invite budding entrepreneurs who may still be fleshing out their ideas or who want to practice pitching in a fun, relaxed environment.

The BarPreneurs for Friday’s event are Tim Williamson, Co-Founder and CEO of The Idea Village, and J. Anthony Miguez, an IDEAsession mentor and Entrepreneur-in-Residence for The Idea Village.

So far, eight pitches are lined up that will run for one minute each. From there, the BarPreneurs choose their top picks who get three more minutes to talk about their ideas. The Barpreneurs pick the best idea and take the winner to lunch at SoBou.

Entrepreneurs looking to pitch should email Samantha Fritz about their pitch at sam@Commanderspalace.com. For more information, visit http://www.sobounola.com/upcoming-events.
