New Orleans Meetup Offering Chance to See Drones in Action

The New Orleans Personal Computer Club, NOPC, is giving the public a chance to see a drone operating and hear from a speaker in the field. On February 4, NOPC will host Charles Easterling, CEO of  the drone company Crescent Unmanned Systems, at their meetup.

A.J. Levy, an organizer for the event, said attendees will have a chance to see a drone operating “up close and personal.”

Crescent Unmanned Systems manufactures advanced unmanned aircraft systems for government and commercial applications. Among  its products, Crescent also manufactures small multi-rotor and fixed wing Unmanned Aerial Systems for law enforcement applications as well as for civilian aerial photography and videography.
