The Louisiana Technology Park is a business incubator based in Baton Rouge that connects high-tech startups with the resources they need to succeed. The facility hosts a Lunch and Learn series to introduce entrepreneurs to available training and economic development resources in the state.
Thursday, February 26th, marks the first Lunch and Learn of the year featuring a presentation from the Louisiana Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC). Cindy Carrier will be there to discuss what the organization does to help Louisiana businesses secure billions of dollars in government contract awards.
The PTAC was created to generate employment and improve the general economy in the state by assisting businesses in obtaining and performing under the U.S. Department of Defense, other federal agencies, state and local government contracts.
Registration check-in starts at 11:45 AM and the speaker will begin at 12:15 PM. The event is free to the public, but space is limited. To register, email Genevieve Silverman at firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line “PTAC Lunch and Learn”.
