$10,000 Up for Grabs at Get Started NOLA Pitch Competition during NOEW

Inc. Magazine and Cox Business invite New Orleans area startups to pitch inspiring business plans at Get Started NOLA, a brand new competition hosted during New Orleans Entrepreneur Week.

Get Started NOLAFive finalists will be chosen to pitch for feedback from a panel of judges including: Kris Frieswick, senior editor at Inc.com; Lauren Thom, founder and CEO at Fleurty Girl; Steve Rowley, Senior VP at Cox Business; and Chris Schultz, founder of Voodoo Ventures.

The winning business will win cash prizes and a Cox Business technology package valued at up to $10,000. The pitch competition is limited to businesses with 2014 annual revenues below $300,000.

Get Started NOLA will also include an expert panel discussion geared towards small business owners and complimentary cocktails and networking reception before and after the competition. The event will take place at The Chicory in New Orleans on Wednesday, March 25th. Happy hour begins at 5:00 PM and the pitch event begins at 6:30 PM.
