Dotology is Louisiana’s newest ICANN-accredited (under DOT Holding, Inc.) domain registrar and web hosting company that takes the hassle out of selecting hosting plans.
The startup is founded by two New Orleanians, Gregory Faia and Vernon Decossas. Both founders have owned other internet and domain businesses over the last 15 years, and noticed that small business owners were an underserved market. “We designed Dotology specifically for them,” explains Faia.
The founders are excited about focusing on their local communities. To them, “keeping it local” means investing time and money in your community. Faia and Decossas work alongside creative marketing strategist and small business evangelist Leslie Almeida to support the communities surrounding our offices, while also keeping other aspects of the company in Louisiana.
The company’s servers are managed by a company in Hammond. Dotology is also planning to host informational and networking events for business owners in the area.
While keeping it local is important, Dotology also reaches far and wide on an international level. They offer services to small and micro businesses around the world. “The nature of the business reaches international territory,” says Faia.
Dotology is web design and hosting for those around the globe who need a digital presence without the expense of IT and design departments. Dotology’s user panel is designed to be simple and uncomplicated. The platform offers “Website in a Box” bundles that save time and money, as well as the SiteBuilder drag-and-drop tool can help customers create beautiful and unique websites.
Faia says the products and bundles are priced competitively, and they offer exclusive discounts on domains throughout the year.
