The startup is founded by two New Orleanians, Gregory Faia and Vernon Decossas. Both founders have owned other internet and domain businesses over the last 15 years, and noticed that small business owners were an underserved market. “We designed Dotology specifically for them,” explains Faia.
The founders are excited about focusing on their local communities. To them, “keeping it local” means investing time and money in your community. The company’s servers are managed by a company in Hammond. Dotology is also planning to host informational and networking events for business owners in the area.
While keeping it local is important, Dotology also reaches far and wide on an international level. They offer services to small and micro businesses around the world. “The nature of the business reaches international territory,” says Faia.
