The Salesforce-Silverline Challenge was one of the eight pitch events held on Monday during New Orleans Entrepreneur Week (NOEW). The competition attracted local technology startups vying for professional implementation services and licensing to jump start their businesses.
At the end of the daylong event, local startup GetHealthy was named the winner of the Salesforce-Silverline Challenge.
The startup is an evidence-based health and wellness platform that develops customized solutions for small and medium-sized businesses by offering a mobile wellness program individually tailored to the companies’ employees. Their health and wellness platform develops customized solutions and services for direct primary care, concierge medicine, accountable care organizations, employers, and insurance providers.
Other startups that participated include Welcome to College, Dry Tunes, Community Health TV, and AppKrewe.
GetHealthy was awarded a package valued at up to $15,000, including: free Salesforce licenses for one year, donated licenses courtesy of the Salesforce Power of Us Program, four hours on in-person consulting services, and 36 hours of custom implementation services from both Silverline and Salesforce.
“It was an absolutely phenomenal experience. We’re thrilled that New Orleans Entrepreneur Week is able to attract these big companies in technology and entrepreneurship,” says CEO Blaine Lindsey.
‘Winning implementation and licensing services–something really tangible– is helpful to us because we’re trying to create those solutions ourselves,” Lindsey continues. “These resources are invaluable.”
