In a late edition to the New Orleans Entrepreneur Week (NOEW) schedule, John Biggs from TechCrunch will be hosting a happy hour at Barcadia beginning at 7:30 PM.
Serial–and successful–entrepreneur Chris Schultz asks, “Ever wonder how people get written up in TechCrunch? By building personal relationships with people like John Biggs. This is a great opportunity to come out and network and get on the radar with a national tech publication. This is the second time TechCrunch has been in New Orleans in the last year, which demonstrates that they see the startup scene as growing down here.”
Biggs is the East Coast Editor of TechCrunch, the platform for technology and startup news with millions of followers.
He will be available for startup chat with entrepreneurs and creatives in attendance.
“If you attended our last Meetup I’d love to catch up with you and see just how you’ve all progressed,” Biggs wrote in a TechCrunch post this morning. “If you see me come up to me, please, because that’s how networking works.”
“It’s great to see well respected organizations like TechCrunch continue to stay involved with the #NOLATech community,” said Jason Seidman, CEO of 52businesses and director of NOLATech Week. “Not only do these relationships confirm our city’s our potential, but they provide the much needed direction and support to help us grow.”
