On April 16th, Adobe Creative Cloud is inviting designers from across the New Orleans area to join the Creative Jam, a two-part design experience demonstrates and celebrates creativity and design.
Adobe, which hosts these events all over the world, is teaming up with AIGA New Orleans, Propeller, and Stickball for the free creative event from 7:00 to 10:00 PM.
Adobe senior Creative Cloud evangelist Michael Chaize launched the Creative Jam in 2013 to create a space for designers to meet and work together. “Creative Jam is also an open stage for local talents to share their creative process. It’s an event for creative people, designed by creative people.”
Another Adobe Evangelist Paul Trani will host presentations throughout the night. The one-hour design showcase will feature the work of local creative leaders: Paul Costello, Kelli Binnings, Skyler Fein, and Tippi Tippens.
At the same time one room over, 11 design teams will be competing in the Creative Jam tournament, a 3-hour design showdown.
Adobe is looking forward to some friendly competition between Creative Jam New Orleans participants Corey Schneider, Coko, Phil Roberts, Maxwell Rasche, Dade Orgeron, Kate Voisin, Kelli Binnings, Rodwell Stephens, Rick Dobbs, Marcus Brown, Scott Hodgin, Christina Chang, Anna Wilkenfeld, Julia Sevin, Alli Treen, Emma Schall, Joe Fleming, Erik Winkowski, Vincent Vumbaco, Ron Domingue, Mark Dunn and Ryan Romans.
When the presentations wrap up, teams will share their creations to the audience that will select the grand prize winner.
