Major League Gaming Finals Coming to New Orleans

Major League Gaming (MLG) is hosting its 100th event, their world finals, in New Orleans, October 16-18, 2015 at the convention center.

Major League GamingAs one of the biggest gaming events in the world, the stakes are high. Attendees are invited to watch the best DOTA 2 and Call of Duty players from around the globe compete for a prize pool of over $500,000.

Greater New Orleans, Inc. is offering 40% off ticket prices using code “GNOINC”. Passes include three day entrance to the event credentials, convention center access, and first come first serve theater seating for the Call of Duty finals on Sunday.

To date, Major League Gaming has held over 45,000,000 online matches played by over 10,000,000 registered users. MLG has awarded more than $13,500,000 in prize money.

NOLA.com reports that Major League Gaming leaders and local officials went back and forth for eight months before finalizing the decision to move to New Orleans.
