A California-based video game development company is moving to New Orleans. inXile Entertainment founder and CEO Brian Fargo has announced an expansion outside of the company’s headquarters in Newport Beach with a new satellite office in the big easy.
The company specializes in the development of interactive entertainment software for all popular game systems.
According the press release, the company employs a mix of studio veterans and new talent to collaborate on high-quality products. The average annual salary for the new office in New Orleans will be $75,000.

We’re proud to be part of the first wave of companies that will help establish Louisiana as the next major high-tech center.”
inXile worked with the state and city of New Orleans since June 2015, alongside organizations including Louisiana Economic Development (LED), Greater New Orleans, Inc. (GNO, Inc.), among others. The company’s incentive package include services from LED FastStart®, a workforce development program and use of the state’s Digital Interactive Media and Software Development Incentive. inXile will also receive $10,000 in relocation expenses from GNO, Inc. and the New Orleans Business Alliance.
