From March 11-18, 2016, entrepreneurs, investors, community members and thought leaders will gather for the 8th annual New Orleans Entrepreneur Week (NOEW).
Throughout the eight days of panels, pitch competitions, networking events and more, NOEW will showcase innovation, entrepreneurship and new thinking in the community.
The Idea Village, producers of the conference, have announced an open call for submissions to present at NOEW.
“NOEW has evolved into one of the most authentic and engaging entrepreneurship festivals in the country, with content that is both locally significant and globally relevant,” says NOEW Content Production Manager Richard W. Hébert. “This year, we are seeking thought leaders across various industries to present forward-thinking content on emerging trends, ideas, and strategies designed to educate, elevate, and inspire the New Orleans community and beyond.”
There are 40 available spots for speakers on the NOEW 2016 calendar. Selection criteria include: presenter qualification, content originality, significance to the NOEW audience, and relevance to national trends in entrepreneurship and innovation. Submissions will be accepted until 11:45pm CT on November 13.
The celebration of entrepreneurship will again be headquartered on Fulton Street in downtown New Orleans. NOEW 2015 drew 10,585 attendees, a 103% increase from the previous year.
The Idea Village is hosting an information session about the submission process at their office (515 Girod Street) on Tuesday, October 27th at 9:00am. Email Richard@ideavillage.org with questions or to schedule individual office hours.
