Baton Rouge-Based Event App Provides Customized Access to Social Scene

An all new, customizable event app is now available to connect users to the best event options in cities depending on their social interests. Vivid: The Event App (website coming soon) is now available in both the Apple and Android stores.

Vivid events appVivid allows users to follow their favorite DJs, promoters, celebrities and friends so they never miss an event in their city. Features of the app include an option to check in to a location, chat with friends, connect with people at the same venue, upload pictures, and even share photos on the big screen at events.

“Our innovative approach allows users to select what events they view on a personal feed,” said Vivid CEO and founder Jason Gardner. “But we took it a step further this time with the user being able to chat and rate the event they’re attending in real time.”

Gardner says they have already begun working with a network of event organizers such as event planning companies, nonprofits, churches, radio stations, and more. “Vivid: The Event App truly is a tool that can work for everyone.”

Event organizers can use the app to create events that include a photo gallery, maps, “like” button, notifications, weather, and interactions for guests.

“We believe that Vivid will become the go-to event app because event goers deserve the premium mobile experience that the Vivid app delivers,” said Christopher Turner, CMO and partner.

Moving forward, Gardner says the startup is going to make a richer, more personal experience for users so they can stay up-to-date on current events that matter to them.
