Each year, New Orleans City Business reveals the best places to work in the Crescent City.
“To compete, companies must submit extensive nomination forms disclosing workforce data such as salaries, benefits, retention levels and employee advancement. The next part of the process involves a survey of company employees to measure workplace culture,” explains City Business.
A total of 50 companies were ranked, 35 honorees in the large company category (more than 50 employees) and 15 honorees in the small business category (fewer than 50 employees). A number of technology companies in New Orleans made the list.
Software development studio LookFar won the best place to work in the small business category. A representative from the company said they are so happy to see many tech and software companies on the list.

Other technology companies to make the list include: Geocent, a technology solutions provider across a wide variety of functional areas; Netchex, an integrated web-based suite for payroll complexity; Archon Information Systems, a leading provider of delinquent tax collection, online property tax auctions and tax collection software; iSeatz, a global provider of customized online travel and entertainment solutions; mumms Software, a hospice software company; Online Optimism, a digital marketing agency; and Rent-A-Nerd, which provides efficient, proactive, honest IT services to businesses and home users.
