Marine and oil and gas services application company, NecesSea, has announced a rebrand to Cleargistix. The company was launched in 2011 and is based out of New Orleans.
Cleargistix revealed that the name change aligned with their strategy to expand the digital ticketing and logging solution from the offshore marine environment to the onshore oil and gas services industry and beyond.
Over the last four years, the company has transitioned to working with the entire oil and gas services industry. “When we started four years ago, our primary focus was on the marine industry, hence the name NecesSea,” said Jennifer Comeaux, VP of Solutions.
“Cleargistix positions our company to serve customers not only in the marine sector but also the onshore oil & gas services industry and beyond,” said President and CEO Steven Toups. “The new branding is intended to tell the market that we are the clear choice for their digital ticketing solution. It’s all right there in the name – Cleargistix.”
The company has also named Cape Coastal Marine, a family-owned vessel operator that offers a variety of offshore oil and gas services, as their second strategic partner for 2016.
Although Cleargistix’s VP of Sales & Marketing, Casey Richie, has had a long friendship with the team at Cape Coastal Marine, they went through the same vetting process as any potential partner.
“While it’s natural to help your friends out in whatever ways that you can, having an official agreement with us creates incentives for our partners that they don’t receive ordinarily or from their other partners. It’s one of those things where we recognize that we need Cape Coastal as a partner more than they need us, so we work to add as much value as possible there for their time and effort,” explains Richie.
Cleargistix is still actively seeking strategic partners at this time. For more information, visit www.cleargistix.com.
