Sia Karamalegos

Sia is a web developer who learned Fortran 90 in college, and then didn’t pick up programming again until the advent of MOOCs. After casually playing with Python and JavaScript, she completed a beginner code-immersion bootcamp in New Orleans, Tech Talent South, and then became a teacher there. She also volunteered with Bring your Daughter to Hack Day and taught a group of students how to make their first html page. On Twitter.

Tim Williamson

Tim is the President and Co-Founder of The Idea Village, a nonprofit with a mission to create economic and social change in New Orleans through innovation and entrepreneurship. The organization has been a big part of turning New Orleans from the biggest brain drain city into the biggest brain gain city. Tom Hayes

For the last two years, Tom has worked at the GM of Uber in New Orleans where he has gotten the technology company up and running along with his growing team. Torrie is well known in the local technology scene as the founder and President of New Orleans Women in Technology (WIT), an organization designed to improve the industry landscape for women in IT. She is also a project manager on the Web & Digital Solutions team at GE where she oversees technology solutions related to website needs. Trey Fayard

2015 was a big year for Trey. After years of preparation, he launched GLO, the airline that seeks to provide the underserved Gulf and Mid-South regions with fast, comfortable and convenient air service. Tyler Ortego

Tyler leads ORA Estuaries, which grows oyster reefs into living coastal protection structures. He has led the expansion of the company as it sells and installs this protective infrastructure at numerous sites along the Gulf Coast. Uchechi Kalu Jacobson

After college Uchechi started working as an online copywriter, and that led her to a career in technology. She is the co-founder and CEO of Wedocracy, an online event planning platform brings fun, ease and community to planning and attending weddings, and has been a user experience designer, content strategist, and project manager at Linking Arts Web Design and Development for the last nearly five years. William Joyce

William has achieved worldwide recognition as an author, illustrator and leader in the digital animation industry through his work at Moonbot Studios, “an interplanetary creative expedition of story and art.” In 2013, Moonbot and Chipotle teamed up and released “The Scarecrow” game and animated short film.
