The New Orleans-based company has announced it is an official presenter and one of 10 startup finalists at the upcoming South by Southwest (SXSW) conference during the education programming.
Taking place in Austin March 7-10, 2016, SXSWedu hosts diverse and innovative members of the education community for sessions, workshops, hands-on learning experiences, film screenings, and networking opportunities. They also offer early stage startups a chance to engage with other entrepreneurs, mentors, investors, and even present.
The SXSWedu Launch competition is for startups all over the world that are focused on education and are in the early stages of development. It will showcase innovations in education with a fast-paced, live startup competition.
“We are excited to be a finalist amongst a group of edtech entrepreneurs that are changing the face of education in the U.S.” says Mirta Desir, the CEO of Smart Coos. “It is a great opportunity to create connections, garner exposure for the company, and gain feedback on how to improve.”
The startup is eagerly awaiting the chance to share their goals with fellow entrepreneurs in the education community and to build a stronger platform for the company during the SXSWEdu competition.
