Compliance Partners, a healthcare compliance service and technology firm based in New Orleans, has announced they have secured an investment from the Louisiana–based Healthcare Innovation Fund, a subsidiary of Lafayette General Foundation. The company will receive $500,000 in funds as part of the fund’s effort to fuel and finance new products and services that can help improve the healthcare industry.
Compliance Partners helps hospitals and other healthcare organizations more easily manage their compliance systems and use best-in-class software tools to stay up-to-date with fast-changing regulations. The recent funding will help the company expand their services to additional hospitals throughout Louisiana, Texas, and the Southeast.
The Healthcare Innovation Fund invests in growth-oriented healthcare technology companies that share the mission of improving healthcare delivery within local communities. They are capitalized through $1.5 million from Lafayette General Health and $1 million from the Louisiana Seed Capital Program under the Louisiana Economic Development Corporation.
“Compliance Partners’ certified service team and trusted technology platform will keep healthcare facilities and systems up-to-date with complex and shifting regulations,” said Cian Robinson, Executive Director for the Lafayette General Healthcare Innovation Fund. “Investing in this company’s growth allows us to give back through building more sound, secure, and cost effective health systems, both here in our own community and across the region.”
Last fall, the startup formed a strategic partnership with multi-billion dollar international company Wolters Kluwer. Their compliance solutions include certified support staff, on-going advisory services, up-to-date regulatory content powered by best-in-class software technology through ComplyTrack technology designed by Wolters Kluwer.
“In this fast-changing regulatory environment, healthcare organizations need support in managing compliance and risk now more than ever,” says Heidi Redmond Raines, President and CEO of Compliance Partner. “We offer an enterprise-wide, comprehensive solution so that healthcare teams can focus on providing high-quality care to the communities they serve.”
