SNAP Entrepreneurship Seminar to Share Venture Formation Tips

On March 8, the SNAP Entrepreneurship Seminar will be held at Propeller on March 8. SNAP stands for, “see it, name it, analyze it, present it.”

SNAP Entrepreneurship SeminarPresenter Jay Taffet is an entrepreneur and venture consultant. He will be addressing venture formation as well as questions such as:

  • Have you ever wondered how an inspiration becomes a venture?
  • What happens after the “vision”?
  • How quickly can an idea turn into a plan?
  • What do you really need to know to write a venture proposal?

Taffet has managed successful ventures and high-value transactions in diverse industries through his career, and specializes in organizational design and capitalization planning for both new and existing businesses.

“We’ll talk about inspiration and opportunity and, most importantly, how an entrepreneur can harness their passion and interest into a promising business (or nonprofit) initiative,” shares Taffet. “And then we’ll cover the first few steps of how that good idea becomes a venture plan.”

This presentation aims to go beyond the more traditional “how to write a business plan” focus and dive deeper into what defines a “good idea.” Taffet will discuss where they come from and how they become a venture concept, and, ultimately, a plan.

There will also be a Q&A after the presentation.

This coverage is brought to you by Callais Capital Management and Susco.
