Support Social Innovators and Pop-Ups at Propeller’s Annual Benefit

Propeller Pop is the annual benefit event hosted by the New Orleans-based social innovation incubator Propeller. Pop will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 from 7:00 to 10:00pm.

Propeller incubates innovative community-based ventures to solve local social and environmental challenges This year, the organization is celebrating its five year anniversary along with the 100 social ventures launched to date.

In sticking to the “pop” theme, the evening also features:

  • Local food from rising stars of the New Orleans pop-up scene including Koreole, Manila Village, the Old Portage, Port City Pantry, Sparklehorese, House of Dumpling, Sweet Spot, Black Swan Food Experience, NOLA Foodsmiths, and Local Acres.
  •  Pop-themed activities, pop-ular music, and a raffle. Proceeds support the 2016-2017 Accelerator and Alumni entrepreneurs.

Co-chairs for Propeller Pop include Chef John Besh, Camille Whitworth, Chef Tunde Wey, and Peter Ricchiuti.
