Louisiana Technology Park Launches Living Laboratory Event

The Louisiana Technology Park business incubator has launched a new socializing and networking opportunity for technology fans in all industries. Tech Tuesday, Living Laboratory Edition will kick off on the evening of Tuesday, May 2.

Louisiana Technology Park Living LabThe event will take place at one of Louisiana’s newest, most advanced medical-training facilities, the Simulated Environment Teaching Hospital (SETH) at Our Lady of the Lake College in Baton Rouge.

Basically, we’re going into one of Louisiana’s newest, more innovative training facilities to check out the tech,” explains John Nettles, associate director of Louisiana Technology Park. “Among the cool tech in there are these robotic patients that cost as much as Mercedes Benzes.”

The business incubator connects high-tech startups with the resources they need to succeed. Their event will be held one day after the ribbon cutting ceremony at SETH, so attendees will be some of the first members of the public to view the facility.
