Puryear IT is a Baton Rouge-based company offering IT support and consulting to businesses throughout Louisiana. After 10 years in business, they are seeking a new domain name and hoping to do so through an online domain contest.
The domain contest winner will receive dinner for two and a $1,000 charity donation. Submissions are due by July 29.
Puryear IT is encouraging creativity throughout this contest and wants contestants will think of an innovative and creative domain name for them to use moving forward. Their current domain, puryear-it.com, “lacks a sense of user-friendliness,” according to the company.
“We’ve been in business for over a decade. Years ago, as a cash-strapped IT support start-up, every dollar went to the business,” says CEO Dustin Puryear. “These days though, we make sure we find creative ways to give back to the community here in Baton Rouge since the city has been so good to us.”
Puryear IT also landed on Penton Technology’s annual MSPmentor 501 Global Edition, which recognizes the world’s top IT Managed Services Providers (MSPs), with a ranking of 407.
While they continue to make an impact in the world of MSPs, Puryear IT is excited to make an impact on the Baton Rouge community by centering this contest around a charity donation of the winner’s choice.
