Where Y’art Merges Art and Technology in New Orleans

Where Y’Art is a curated digital gallery featuring over 100 artists, craftsmen, and designers from New Orleans. The platform is a marketplace and educational resource for the artists themselves.

In addition to the online gallery, Where Y’art has a gallery space in the Marigny neighborhood located at 1901 Royal Street. This allows customers to discover, follow, and shop directly from local artists.

The organization is now merging technology and art even more than before. Each piece is equipped with a QR code that anyone can scan and be directed to information about the artist on whereyart.net.

Where Y’art also has several artists on display throughout the city in spaces such as coffee shops, hotel lobbies and offices. Artists Jono Goodman and Frances Rodriguez are currently showcased at trepwise, an impact consulting firm that uses entrepreneurial thinking to help both for profit and non-profit organizations.

Where Y’art has teamed up with The Old No. 77 Hotel & Chandlery for the unveiling of a new exhibit during White Linen Night. Fairer Sex: Part One is an all-female interactive exhibition, featuring works by Ember Soberman, Lori Sperier, and Saegan Swanson.
