The 4th Silicon Bayou Startup Show
The Showcase is one of the final events of NOLATech week, the largest free technology conference in the south, which began today (October 10). The tagline this year’s unconference is, “Global innovation with New Orleans flair.”
During the Silicon Bayou Startup Showcase, companies will have the opportunity to show off products or other projects during the event designed to highlight the local creative startup and entrepreneurial community.
Here’s a sneak peek at the startups participating in the Showcase (in alphabetical order):
Bureau of Change
Bureau of Change is an education-centric lab for digital art practice in New Orleans. The organization creates, curates and exhibits socially and politically engaged work.
Concierge Solutions
Concierge Solutions is an application development startup focused on the service and hospitality industry. The startup’s first product is OffShift, a communication and collaboration platform built exclusively for the service and hospitality industry.
Limited Times
Limited Times, LLC is a legal tech company focused on making complex legal research accessible using humans plus code. It originated out of work conducted at Tulane University.
Locally
Locally powers a suite of tools for brands and retailers that allow online shoppers to find, reserve and buy from nearby shops.
PatentDive
PatentDive builds software to help builders protect their products. The company’s products help inventors and attorneys create better patent applications.
Shiftgig
Shiftgig builds technology that is focused on one thing: connecting people who want temporary work right now with businesses who need them. Their apps make it easy for businesses to post gigs and for qualified and skilled workers to claim them.
Vaunt 3D
Vaunt 3D is a 3D scanning and print house located in New Orleans. They provide high quality photo-real 3D renderings for architects, investors, and interior designers.
