The annual festival of entrepreneurship in New Orleans is slated for March 19-24, 2017, heading to a brand new location following a move from Fulton Street.
New Orleans Entrepreneur Week (NOEW) will take place at its new campus, a shared workspace and event space inside the Contemporary Arts Center. The Idea Village, producers of NOEW, are hoping this area turns into the city’s innovation corridor.
The 9th annual festival will attract entrepreneurs, investors, professionals, students, and community members.
“NOEW continues to grow as a valuable asset for our community, and our work with local experts is the cornerstone of that effort,” said Victoria Adams Phipps, Executive Producer of NOEW. “As always, our goal is to educate, elevate, and inspire our community; however, this year, we are seeking thought leaders that can embrace our theme of ‘connectivity.’ We are eager to bring our diverse community together in ways that are fresh, inclusive, and impactful.”
Particular areas of focus this year include: diversity and inclusion, women in business, art and design, the future of New Orleans, crucial community dialogues, raising capital, and the next era of tech.
Those interested in speaking, presenting on a panel, or hosting an interactive session can submit their ideas at bit.ly/speakatNOEW. Submissions will be accepted through Friday, November 18.
