Uber’s food delivery platform has made its way to New Orleans. Starting today, UberEATS is available to download on iOS or Android for food delivery seven days a week in the Crescent City.
The company has launched with over 100 partner restaurants, including Company Burger, Willie Mae’s Scotch House, Juan’s Flying Burrito, and The Ruby Slipper. The app allows users to set locations such as home or work, save credit card information for easy ordering, and track orders along the way.
Restaurants can reach a broader customer base with the UberEATS app. “We’ve had a lot of interest from our customers for Ruby Slipper to offer delivery service, but hadn’t found the right partner; when we learned that UberEats was entering the New Orleans market, we knew they would be the right partner to launch with.” said Jennifer Weishaupt, Owner of The Ruby Slipper.
To celebrate the launch, Uber is offering free delivery for a limited time. New users can use code “eats-bbiv0” to get $10 your first order.
