New Orleans Entrepreneur Week is the annual festival celebrating business, innovation, and new thinking in New Orleans. The conference will attract entrepreneurs, investors, professionals, students, and community members at its new campus, a shared workspace and event space inside the Contemporary Arts Center.
The Idea Village, producers of NOEW, are expecting 15,000 attendees through the week of March 19-24, 2017. The theme for this year is “where culture and innovation connect.”
“NOEW features more than 100 unique events, from entrepreneur showcases, to dynamic workshops and panels, to industry-specific summits and social networking events, during the weeklong festival,” shared The Idea Village. “NOEW’s ‘The Big Idea’ entrepreneur pitch event is the world’s largest crowd-driven startup pitch extravaganza. NOEW supports startup business growth in the 10-parish Greater New Orleans region.”
Highlights of the 9th annual festival of entrepreneurship include speakers from national companies such as Netflix, GE, Slack, and local companies such as rasa.io, trepwise, Electric Girls and many more.
Particular areas of focus this year include: diversity and inclusion, women in business, art and design, the future of New Orleans, crucial community dialogues, raising capital, and the next era of tech.
