There had been a lot of speculation as to whether Collision Conference would be back in New Orleans for the third year in a row in 2018.
Earlier this week the creator of tech blog Scobleizer wrote a viral post to organizers about why Collision shouldn’t happen in any other city. “See, if you bring it to San Francisco or Las Vegas, you’ll make it easier to get to,” shared Robert Scoble. “Your conference team will have an easier time because those cities are setup to do conference after conference. But in a decade people won’t look back at their experiences the way we’ll look back at ours in New Orleans.”
His request–and the request of many others– was granted. The Web Summit team, organizers of Collision, have confirmed they will be back in town for the conference that will coincide with the city’s tricentennial.
You can now purchase advance tickets to the conference, scheduled for May 1-3, 2018. If you sign up through this link by tomorrow (May 12) you can get free tickets by referring friends.
