The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Environmental Public Health Tracking Program has launched the Enviro Health App Challenge, open to anyone now through June 23. The challenge was launched to find the best innovative uses of CDC data.
“CDC is crowdsourcing innovators to use the Tracking Network and its API (Application Program Interface) to create easy-to-use software applications that will track environmental and/or health data indicators, monitor trends, provide access to data, educate the public, identify at-risk populations, and/or expose potential health hazards,” shared a release.
First place winner will be awarded $20,000. Seven thousand dollars will go to second place and $3,000 to third place.
