BridgeCommunity Startup Cohort Welcomes New Orleans Natives

BridgeCommunity is a Southeast-based program spun out of The Bridge that connects early-stage startups to an exclusive set of global corporations such as Coca-Cola, InterContinental Hotels Group and Porsche North America.

Their second North American cohort recently launched, welcoming 22 startups across the United States and England with a strong focus on the Atlanta startup ecosystem. The relationships being built will help produce pilots, test proof-of-concepts, and grow the innovative community.

One startup, Cinamaker, is a platform that lets you stream, shoot, and edit multi-angle videos that look professional. Both of the startup’s founders are from New Orleans. They are making video shoots faster, easier and more affordable.

Additionally, DasDak has two large clients in New Orleans: the Superdome and the Smoothie King Arena.  Their mobile commerce software for large, populated venues was recently used at the NBA All-Star Game earlier this year.

The 2016 cohort resulted in nine deals created between the selected startups and corporations.
