A New Orleans-based hub for entrepreneurs, The Idea Village, is currently looking for their next Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EIR) for the 2017-2018 Entrepreneur Season.
During the season, which runs from August through April 2018, the EIR will mentor 10 to 15 early-stage, high-growth companies through the IDEAx accelerator program.
“We are looking for a serial entrepreneur or an individual with experience providing direct business consulting to startup companies,” said Emily Egan, Director of IDEAVILLAGEx for The Idea Village. “This role is an opportunity for someone to work directly with the next generation of entrepreneurs, giving them the necessary mentoring to take their ideas from initial vision to viable, growing company.”
The EIR will provide resources to entrepreneurs in the IDEAx program such as capital access, focused consulting sessions, mentorship, networking, and other professional services.
Applicants can find the employment application here. The Idea Village is accepting resumes, cover letters, and references through July 15.
